What's the first thing I do on the morning of New Years day? Head off to Peet's for a Latte… and collect a bit of change in the process.

So what's in the works for Coin Of The Day in 2008? Well, first is a SQL database to store all the coin information… and, hopefully, a web based front end so that it can be easily searched. Since I'm still feeling my way around in SQL this will take a while. But it's the main goal. I had been planning a script to generate dynamic coin values based on closing prices of online auctions… but that's not been working out as well as I had hoped, and for now the whole idea is getting pushed to the back burner. Maybe I'll poke at it again, who knows.
